REGARDING PAINTINGS...

Currently, I am in pursuit of new models and commissions for my painted portraits, and I approach the topic fairly leisurely -- yet quite specifically.  In that spirit, I'm looking for popular pure-bred dogs to paint that I've not yet represented, with my main goal being the expansion of my greeting card and water bottle lines.  My current rate is $800 for a 16"x20", acrylic on canvas portrait; payment is due in full before I begin.  My preference is to work off a clear photo (
see these, for example), and I am very receptive to photos from prospective commissioners provided they are up-close, representative of the breed in general, and don't include any "props" like balls, etc.  If you're local, I'm also open to taking the photos myself.

I AM willing to paint non pure-bred dogs at this time, or breeds that have already been represented, and will even consider two dogs within one portrait (although the cost is double for two or more dogs in one portrait).  Contact me with questions about your furry friend!

Thanks for your interest!

If you'd like to be on my emailing list,
please drop me an email.

DURGA
REGARDING MY DIGITAL PORTRAITS...

I am currently accepting new commissions for my digital dog renderings, which I will be offering as limited-edition museum-quality prints.  My price per digital portrait is $340, and this includes a photo session with your pet (if necessary), and one 11"x14" giclee print of your loved one, memorialized in a truly special and vibrant way...forever.  These digital portraits incorporate my original fabric designs into them, and are completely unique to the dog portraiture community.  I love doing them, and look forward to seeing this colorful line of art...flower.
